RES Association "Qazaq Green" Association of Legal Entities (Qazaq Green)
Qazaq Green was created to support the development of solar energy in Kazakhstan, bringing together investors, developers, equipment manufacturers, international financial institutions and universities.
Qazaq Green's key tasks include - representing and protecting the interests of the association's members in government bodies, participating in the rule-making process, and making specific proposals to state bodies to create favorable conditions for the implementation of renewable energy projects in Kazakhstan.
Qazaq Green membership is open to both commercial and non-profit organizations, financial institutions, and educational institutions. Currently, members of the Association include such organizations as the CARER (Kazakhstan) group of companies - a company specializing in the development, construction, commissioning and maintenance of solar power plants; URBASOLAR (France) - is a company that develops, builds and manages more than 500 solar plants with a capacity of more than 350 MW worldwide, including 19 MW in Kazakhstan; "ХЕК К-Т" LLP - is a company implementing a 10 MW SES project in Zhanakorgan district of Kyzylorda region; "Hevel Kazakhstan" LLP - is a branch of the Hevel group of companies that has a large portfolio of projects in Kazakhstan and its own production of solar modules in Novocheboksarsk (Russia);
"Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan" LLP - manufacturer and supplier of inverters for solar stations; Risen Energy (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd - is one of the global leaders in the production of solar panels; Green Energy 3000 Kazakhstan - is a company with extensive international experience in implementing renewable energy projects.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which finances renewable energy projects in Kazakhstan, Unicase, Linkage&Mind, KazWind, and the Kazakh-German University, which works on the development of educational programs in the sector, are represented as accredited observers in the Association.
Association members receive a number of important advantages: qualified support at all stages of implementation of solar power plant projects in Kazakhstan, upgrading the interests of companies, obtaining up-to-date information on the regulatory framework for renewable energy in Kazakhstan, making proposals to government organizations through the Association in order to update regulatory documents on renewable energy, receiving information and analytical support, as well as the opportunity to promote the company in the market of Kazakhstan through the Association's media channels.
In 2019, the Association was accredited by the Ministry of energy of RK and is currently one of the key expert centers for the development of renewable energy in Kazakhstan for both government agencies and the business community. One of the important things that distinguishes our Association from other associations is the practical experience of our team in implementing renewable energy projects both in Kazakhstan and abroad with an installed capacity of more than 350 MW.
Therefore, the Solar Power Association of Qazaqstan (Qazaq Green) - is an alliance of practitioners and a platform for interaction between the state and business.
